Unrealistic, at least in this day and age.

Most people who enjoy playing games like Dungeons and Dragons are actually successful in thier lives.

For example, Vin Deisel is a huge fan of the game, even has D&D tatoos, and he's a very successful actor.

Dungeons and Dragons is also the forerunner to many computer games that are famous today, including World Of Warcraft and Everquest.

That video is not the norm.

It may have been at one time, but with the notoriety it got from Christians demonising it, it has since to become a popular way passing the time among millions of people.

Lighten up. It's satire.

For the record, I was in RPG club in HS.

The problem is though, people who enjoy these kind of games are stigmatized just like the people in the video. Everytime I've seen or heard something like this has always been with a negative connotation.

Not at all. Actually, my high school held a rally in the gym an a bunch of the teachers got up in front of the entire school explaining that dungeons and dragons was Satanic and anybody who played it was worshipping Satan and wasn't a Christian. As a result I had to throw away a hundred and fifty dollars worth of AD&D books I'd collected. I even had to throw away my Conan The Barbarian books because it was too close to that "Satanic D&D".

But it never fails to bring out the prejudism in people, even today.

You were 14 & you 'had to'?

I suspect a 'cultural gap' that is too immense to describe

You burnt them under instruction, order or pressure?

Orders. I didn't want too, and I didn't burn them, just threw them away.
