I have always maintain that the kindler , gentler way of fighting was completely wrong!
All those PC type standards being heaped on our miltary has led to this situation.
War is about killing people and breaking things and there damn sure isn't anything kind about that!
The troops being chained and criticised by the socialist press and politicians at home has also played a BIG part in creating the current situation in Iraq.
If we had allowed a Chesty Puller type to control Iraq during these last few years our military would already have been home before now.

In short we weakened our troops and our image by allowing the appeasing politicians and the "socialist press "too much leeway.
The enemy in Iraq took great advantage of that.

Before any genius starts crying -freedom of the press , I will say
yes freedom of the press for a free press! Not for a bias onesided(democrats) press that clearly is just an extension of the democrat party.-TZS
