| notrlly http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/ameri...wagePoster.pdf min wage there is about half the new national requirement... to make things worse, the average wage in Northern Mariana was ~$2.50 before this bill, so the bullshit argument that the raise would be too high cannot be used... | ||||

Look at my original post! Did you see the question mark? Did you read where I said this may be nothing more than an "embarrasment?" I don't make a total fool of myself like some of this board who don't get both sides of the story before they post! But NO! I am a tinfoil hat loon! ![]() This is good and we will see where it goes in the media and in factual truth. Lighten up and take off those tight shorts.

| It's not an embarrasment at all, Samoa is extraordinarily small and has businesses that are unfit for a huge spike | ||||

| Uhm, want to talk about business based on a 2.35 wage jumping to 7.25 when these are the ONLY BUSINESSSES that do any sort of major employment? See, the people from Samoa can't just drive over to another state...it's an isolated economy, it'd be like "lets set a minimum wage for the entire world at 7.25 an hour!" yeah, that'd work It's not great, but it's being realistic, Samoa is a special isolated situation, I'm sorry if it goes over your head or you don't really care about Samoa you just like to jab Democrats, if anyone has anything intelligent to say, I'll respond But as Pelosi said, she doesn't have any lobbying connections to the corporation and there's no dirty tricks going on | ||||
