I saw this perfectly during the game, I'm sitting there like "What...this is the camera they go to?" It was a fixed shot, not some random crowd browsing

Where are all the family groups and media coverage blasting Fox for such a flagrant violation on national television?

Oh right, this is Murdoch's group and no liberals were involved, he gets a pass

I hope someone gets canned over that, and FOX gets a nice hefty fine for it. Actually, they're NOT getting a "pass" on it. This post here isn't the first I've heard of it, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

I thought this thread was going to be about media bias. I had no idea it was about the word Fuck being on a tee-shirt of a live football game.

The comparison to the Janet Jackson is absurd. I also don't understand the relation to a right-wing conspiracy here as if political affiliation had anything to do with this.

And they haven't been given a pass per se.. Being treated same as anyone else.

The Parents Television Council has asked its members to complain to the FCC about the on-camera profanity, saying it had "no doubt" it was intentional. But the FCC would be unlikely to act on that or any other profanity complaints until a federal court has ruled on a challenge by broadcasters, including Fox, to its new profanity-enforcement policy.

And the girl is not hot.. at all.

FOX is a media outlet...they are bias about allowing the most vulgar language on national television

You are right, it is absurd, the network had no idea Jackson's nipple was going to be shown *gasp* while the FOX's crew specifically focused continually on that fan with the worst vulgarity...FOX is 100x worse of a violation

It certainly seems like a conspiracy, millions of people saw her, certainly MANY strict religious figures and their followers saw it, where is the outrage, where are the torches and pitchforks?

Wow, the FCC hasn't acted yet, strangely I remember the JJ episode to be just a little beyond a simple ruling by the FCC

Ofcourse, as previously stated, why have a huge public and media outrage over something Murdoch's company does

Because that's exactly what happened with JJ, just a FCC hearing down the road, a fine may be given out...i wonder if Fox can afford it?

Selective memories here, I want to know where the outrage is, why aren't the FCC's phones jammed with complaints? Why aren't conservatives out on major TV shows talking about what a huge disgrace this is and how violations of values are destroying our culture?

Because written profanity isn't as big of a deal as nudity at the Superbowl. Profanity violations are common, they don't get the same outrage as the Janet Jackson incident because they just don't compare. Trying to compare them is laughable.

fuck is "just a cuss word" alright I can't for all the little kids who saw the game to go in to school saying "fuck da eagles"

BTW i said about 10x it was not a random sweep, they picture her out the crowd, and the FOX crew made the decision to switch directly to her for more than probably any other fan I saw in the game

Saying fuck is fine, who cares, but a BREAST oh my god, you are right, totally different, lets ban kids from the beach because any girl with a skimpy white bikini top is basically giving the same show, or lets ban miss america forever because of all the breast you see in that

Nobody is saying it was a moral thing to do. And nobody is saying the FCC shouldn't punish them. We're just saying it's stupid to compare it to Janet Jackson and expect the same effect, and the conclusion of a bias to Fox is inaccurate considering the FCC is going to rule on it when they rule on all other profanity violations.

Keep in mind a lot of people on this forum didn't give two shits about the Janet Jackson breast from both political aisles.
