You may not think it is important but over here the news liked it and reported it. As opposed to ynetnews who only reported the juicy extremist part.

oh right, so no matter the actions of hezbollah, you're still going to find a way to blame israel.

why do you continue to defend a fascist regime?

Incorrect -- they are primitive shrapnel devices. Loose ball bearings and white-hot peices of metal flying at several-hundred miles per hour will rip through a human torso like a hot knife through butter.

A weapon does not have to be hyper-technological to inflict damage. As case in point; a pointed stick ruled the nations of the world for millenia.

Sure, if one hits within a certain (limited) distance of you. Its not like they are cruise missles that can level buildings.

It is basically an aerial land mine.

The shit is seriously going to hit the fan if they bomb Israel's biggest city with a long range, probably Iranian, missile.

They just fired 250+ rockets into Israel yesterday, and in the last hour a rocket hit 25 miles from Tel Aviv.

CNN reports it's the deepest one yet. Hezbollah continues to fire 200+ rockets average per day, consistent for the week.

Eventually one is going to land in Tel Aviv. If they can hit 25 miles away from it, there's really no reason to think they can't make that final jump.

I'm sure Iran is just itching to supply them with new missiles to fire anyway.

Maybe because Israel isn't completely innocent in all this, and the world isn't black and white?

The same question could be asked for your position. It seems no matter the actions of Israel, you'll still find a way to absolve them of any wrongdoing

considering the fact that israel isn't that big, that doesnt' come as much a surprise.

Really? I don't remember you placing any fault on Israel in any threads recently. That certainly isn't what your reply above implies either.

I don't condone the actions of either group. They are both responsible for the actions they take.

And yes, I think Israel's response was poor. It didn't have to to turn into an all-out war. They responded in this way to make a point about kidnapping soliders, one that will fail to have the desired effect.

I have not supported the actions of the hezbollah once. The most I have done is to point out it is to be expected

I disagree.

I think this war is delivering perfectly its desired effect.

This war has re-established the concept of a deterrent Israel. Its neighbors are now thinking twice when they deal with them.

What neighbors, what in gods name are you talking about?

Syria and Iran have gained tons from this war, and the rest already had peace treaties with Israel

Hezbollah has been winning, nothing has changed, Israel has spent almost a month and has barely gone a few miles and from all accounts Hezbollah is intact and popular

"and more popular than ever" would be more accurate.

I don't think any of the nations that aren't attacking Israel right now with the exception of Syria and Iran were planning on doing so anyway.. and why would they do so directly when they can follow in the footsteps of the United States and carry out their own little proxy wars?
