The only real way of doing is it kicking them out.

What's gonna start happening is US citizens are gonna go in and claim no insurance, no ID and get free treatment. Before long we'll have a serious problem on our hands and then something will have to be done about it.

How can you hold them accountable? They have no SSN, no license, no record... All they have to do is show up, give a false name and get treated. Never receive a bill, never have to pay.

Just wait until Americans start figuring out they can do it too. Our health care will go to shit.

Or how about different levels of hospitals, most of which require ID to be treated, some that don't. Obviously the care at the "don't require ID" would be a lot worse... maybe even as bad as Mexico.

well i mean what happens if you're an american out on a construction job wearing shorts and a tank. You chop off your arm... and your buddies throw you in a truck and drive you to a hospital only to be told you have to go to a hospital that accepts no ID patients?

I'm sure there are other alternatives too, that's just what came to mind first.

The point is, if we're still giving away free shit, the fense will do jack. And if we take away free shit, the fence isn't needed. So for either case, the fents = pointless.

I actually like your idea. Before you can get car insurance you have to submit photos of your car, etc. How hard would it be to include a slab of ink and a fingerprint card to mail back in when you get your health insurance package/card each year. I'd pay an extra $10 a year premiums to cover the costs if it meant saving our hospitals and lowering the costs for everyone.

Yea, but that involves people to be able to transport themselves and take the time to get it done. Sending a SASE along with your insurance card would be the best way to ensure the poor people would have no excuse. Then once they're received they can be digitized easily.
