They are happy about the change of the congress. Iraq is probably the only issue that most people even grasp at the moment. I doubt many of them could tell you what happened in the so-called 100 hours.

Al Qaeda does not represent any Nation State although they did have power withing the Afghanistan government. The one we removed. The continued threats against the United States have been prevented and documented by law enforcement. Unless you think they are all BushCo puppets the threat is real.
