That's kind of like a sticky making fun of someone though

The problem I see on Daily Kos is the sort of groupthink mentality on a whole host of issues. If someone disagrees with Kos on an issue there is a tendancy for people who are swinging from his sack to swarm their diary or post and completely screw up any chance for rational discourse.

The site is designed during election time to be a Nexus of democratic energy, not a time for calm discourse or a time for the traditional democratic circle fire squad

It's not just around election time. If it was, I could understand it more.

I know the type of site isn't supposed to be like here, but I think a progressive movement requires independent thinking, and people should be allowed to disagree and they shouldn't be swarmed by sackriders.

the site is more about "crashing the gates" by taking on the DLC establishment and the GOP...less about establishing liberal thought

Diaries are an attempt at that...but just an attempt, thats not the focus of the site and if it tried it'd be too much of a maze

I guess I just hate fanboi's of all stripes. I like to see people think for themselves instead of running around like a moron trying to stifle any opposing opinion.
