Depends on your viewpoint. If the Iranians wanted to kill jews, they would start with their own population...which BTW is the largest Jewish population in the middle east outside of Israel. On top of that, if the Jews magically moved to Europe overnight, I am pretty sure they wouldn't follow them and bomb them. They despise the state of Israel...the country...not the Jews themselves. They despise Zionism...not the Jews themselves.

The Israelis have killed far more women and children than the Palestinians and they've destroyed far more homes as well.

So I just don't understand how anyone could really defend Israel here. Like I said, it is best if the US just removes themselves from the situation. I don't feel like I should have to pay to arm Israel and pay for their camps and all the other stuff they do. Likewise, I should not have to pay for the Palestinians.

But then again, who is running them?

The difference is israel is acting defensively. The palestinians lob a few rockets into israeli home and run like scared little girls. The israelis target where the rockets (or people) came from and go from there. I wouldn't be surprised if israel has killed more palestinians than vice versa.....the reason is simple, more palestinians have deserved it.

Yea, I'm sure some old lady deserves to be ran over by a bulldozer while still in her house because some militant fired off a rocket from half a mile away. And I don't think anyone in that area has been more aggressive than Israel. I don't see how the US could support them after they tried to sink the USS Liberty.

If the palestinians aren't going to do anything to reign in the militants who use residential areas for storing weapons and as bases for strikes then the israelis are going to (rightly) continue to level buildings until there's a buffer between them and anything that's within striking distance of them.

It is Israel that's the true underdog, not the other way around.

When other nations have sued for pece Israel has not broken its word. For example, Israel and Egypt made their peace and Israel even gave back all the land that it took during it's last war with Egypt. Since then Egypt has not made any kind of military or other attack against Israel.

Hamas won't stop purposefully targeting and firing indiscriminantly against Isirael's civillian populace. Israel has always made concessions in any peace plan, Hamas has not and often responded to peace plans with another bomb.

Israel never invaded Egypt, Egypt was going to and had amassed 200,000 troops, thousands of tanks and hundreds of planes to do so.

Israel does not specifically target civillians like hamas does, the civillians are, and sadly, caught in the crossfire because the terrorists use them as shields.

And America has broken its word to other countries including Israel several times. You're constantly going on about that.

Hamas would never consider a long term peace. It won't even acknowledge Israel's existence.
