Repeat a shaky story on the morning show in January 2007? Mention it later once or twice on the News broadcast of the day. Retract it. Then Gibson makes a remark in a question on his talk show (who listens?). I never even knew about it until I read your Newsweek Story. Fox needs to do better than that!

its pretty hard to continue the smear when everyone has shown they were complete fools for airing it, the most arrogant thing to do would be a little whisper of a retraction and refusal to apologize, that way Obama can't get credit from Fox News for recovering his name after the smear

Dan Rather has yet to apologize to the President of the United States for producing, investigating, and running a Prime Time Investigative news story, with his name on it, that was a total hoax right before a National Presidential Election. He wont even admit that the story was false to this day, and that suggests to me some type of politcal pathology but I am no expert on the demetia of liberals.

That story wasn't false. The documents were forged but you guys seem to forget that they have testimony from people who saw the real ones.

Of all the alleged global warming, healthcare, Iraq, Bush, social security etc pieces in the mainstream media and none of it matters until something is alleged on Fox about Obama.

No offense, but Newsweek has a very week argument and in printing this article in the way they have, they've shown to have a heavier bias than the story they were attempting to break.

Thanks for jumping into my thread, and repeating the mantra of the bias liberal media, Newsweek's opinion pieces by Alter are terrible and Fox is getting singled out on this when network news does far worse

All of the big Media are owned by huge multi-national corporations that have great interest into what Washington and other governments around the world do. They are all obviously biased. Anyone that doesn't believe that is a fool.

Other media, like ABC, CNN to some extent whatever, they push towards info-tainment when they can because it makes more money...any notions of a strong liberal media are foolish because all MSM wasted 2 years of national dialogue to talk about Clinton getting a BJ from a stalking intern, where was the liberal media pushing over issues to get Clinton off the front pages? None, because it doesn't exist

People talk about liberal journalists, pfft, who gets to decide what stories they run, their managing editors, you think they're flaming liberals? CBS (omg big liberals!) have been holding back great stories from Haifa Street Iraq because after 2-3 minutes of their daily Iraq coverage, they feel that's enough and they'd rather run a story on some info-tainment to lighten things up

If you want to be a stickler, yeah they are all bias, but who is to say how they change...ABC was "big liberal media" then they run the anti-Clinton "documentary" full of lies...who is to say the don't have a conservative bias? Finding "liberal bias" is a waste of time and has been for decades
