When do you think Israeli Terrorism began?

When Israel was founded in the 1948, and it blew up the peace delegation sent to Israel?

Deir Yassin massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Or prior to the founding of Israel, when Israelis-to-be blew up the King David hotel and murdered others through terrorism?
King David Hotel bombing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Or do you have another point, West Bank in the 60s, Jordan/Europe in the 70, Lebanon in the 80s, etc?

Give your thoughts

I think it began when the first scriptures were carved into stone. (i.e. it goes beyond the formation of modern nation-states)

I give the Iraqis a free pass, not the Sunnis or Shi'a nor Saddam husein and his loyal followers.

Maybe it began when they revolted as Egyptian Slaves? Or perhaps the revolts against the Secular Humanist Romans? Or perhaps being upset with the slaugher in WWII National Socialist Germany and the expulsion from Communist Russia made them so mad that some of their fanatics killed a whole 100 to 120 people? Who can say?

Secular Humanist Romans, oh that's going in my signature

The Romans were more religious than modern Israelis...far far more religious

They didn't run their government as a religious institution! Not compared to any government at the time. That is why they were so tolerant of non-pagan religious worship in their territories. Just as long as it did not become and influence in political rebellion. That changed when they became Catholic. Who said they were not very religious at the time of Christ?

Now I'm screwed, I don't know which quote is worse

I apologize, I took a lot of courses involving the ancient and medieval world, it's unfair for me to pick on you

I am sure whatever you took, if we had a discussion on that, I'd look foolish if I tried to act like an expert

The nationalist insurgents, yes. The religious fanatics, no.

I would classify Israel as the former, because even though they are heavily religious, the reason they kill is to defend the nation of Israel, not the religion of Judaism.
