wtf do they do with it? the fact that they are super wealthy is mainly due to good investments...bill gates isn't worth 50 billion because he made that much in his paychecks. he invested the 2 billion he made and made money from his investements...

Lets assume that the hiltions have their $300 million sitting in a bank of america checking account.

Now what does that do. Well, it allows bank of america to extend more lines of credit because they have large stockpiles of cash they can lend against. with this large cash deposit, it also lowers the lending interest rate because their is more money to be given out. lower rates and more money to give out allows more people to take loans and create new business.
