Now what does that do. Well, it allows bank of america to extend more lines of credit because they have large stockpiles of cash they can lend against. with this large cash deposit, it also lowers the lending interest rate because their is more money to be given out. lower rates and more money to give out allows more people to take loans and create new business.

Hey, I just said this like 20 posts ago

It's not taxed twice. That's like saying you shouldn't have to pay taxes because the money you pull in was already taxed at some point. You never payed taxes on money your parents passed to you.

I never set the limit.

i guess thorgrim assumes that these rich people aren't rich because they are smart, but because they are stupid people that got lucky, and have no idea how to invest their money, so they put it under their pillow

and they aren't willing to spend a little money on professional financial managers. don't financial managers seek out the rich?

VERY few assets are kept in deposit boxes, if someone wants to keep money in that, its their money so they can do what they want, but the vast majority wont do that.

Every expenditure only stimulates once. I've already been over what buying gold does to help the economy. They buy, prices raise, others sell, the money is merely transferred through someone else.

We all benefit from capital accumulation.

We all benefited from Henry Ford passing his billion dollar estate to his children. It allowed for the accumulated capital to be saved, so it didn't have to be rebuilt again. This allowed for the public to purchase cheaper cars, because they didn't need to raise prices to rebuild lost capital.

Right.

And the government engaging us into WW1 had NOTHING to do with the Depression. Nothing at all.
