The guy makes a few valid points I like, but does not really provide any proof of his assertions. It is good that he questions the "prevailing wisdom", it is also good to re-evaluation assumptions. What I don't like is him saying "they are wrong because they made assumptions" without providing any evidence that they are wrong. There is science that says global warming being caused by humans is plausible - even likely. If someone wants to challenge that, fine but they will need to show exactly where the science is wrong. | ||||

No it's not fact but there is a very good possibility that what people are doing is messing with the climate and that doing so can have some very negative consequences. Science does not really need a consensus to work or be right, the only thing a consensus does is allow for decision making. There are a large number of scientists directly involved in climate research that say the data indicates that man is responsible for the part of the the current warming trend and that trend has consequences. There would have to be some very compelling evidence contradicting this to dismiss this viewpoint. | ||||
