Is Hagel ramping up for a presidential run or has it taken him this long to read the writing on the wall? | ||||

| I'm putting on my Carnac the Magnificent hat so I can see in the future. I see us pulling out of Iraq but maintaining a close presence so that Iran or someone won't invade. I then see the Iraqi police and military using VERY violent means to quel violence and quiet dissent. I then see the media (and people here) blaming us for said violence. | ||||

| It's probably news because more and more Republicans are distancing themselves from the failed policies of the Bush administration as election time comes. I like how it was a scant few months ago that the Democrats wanted to cut and run according to every Republican when they wanted to redeploy troops and start taking the training wheels off, but at the same time that rhetoric still exists from the moronic neocon pundits, you have all of these Republicans coming around and seeing what the Democrats saw months ago. | ||||
