Jesus didn't say "follow the bible." He said, "do as I say." The bible contains what he says, along with what others around him said, the authority of those others is presumed to have been disseminated by Jesus one way or another. Right. And Abraham Lincoln never said "I will be among the top three biographied figures in history, evar!" But the quotes in those books are probably of value. Nowhere is Jesus quoted in the bible as saying "there will be this many gospels" or for that matter "this many popes" ... those are just four accounts of the guy's life. Tossing them out the window (on the grounds that Jesus never instructed people to write down everything he said and did) is like throwing out all the history we have about Martin Luther or Adolf Hitler, just 'cause they never told anyone to come behind them with pen and paper and take notes.

I have often wondered how a person of mixed race would get compensated. Many blacks have white genes in them. Some old plantation owners fathered all their slaves, haven't you watched Roots. I'd be glad to pay any slave whatever wages a white person would have received doing the same job plus damages for pain and suffering. A black is Secretary of State. A black was Secretary of Defense. There is a black running for president and everyone is taking him seriously. Blacks run corporations, have their own businesses, brought two football teams to this years Superbowl. I would say that is pretty equal.

I never said lazy. But I do think that in order for blacks to come out of poverty they need a strong family and community and they need to stay in school. That's not happening. Many blacks feel they are "entitled" to be taken care of by the government. That is wrong. Look at all the people that come to this country not even being able to speak the language and with FAR less money then our "poor" and are able to make something of themselves. It's a mind set that, for some reason, many blacks don't have. And people like you and thor telling them they can't be anything without the government helping them giving them money for relatives that may have or may not have been slaves doesn't help either. It's just another handout that will help nothing.

Hell, look at what Democrats/liberals did in Chicago by banning Walmart from opening in the city. Here is a company that could have created hundreds of jobs as well as given those people inexpensive food and clothing. Those jobs could have been the spring board to better jobs. It was all just thrown out of the way because of liberal thinking.

That's make no sense, there are other religious writing speaking of what Jesus said, why not include ALL OF THEM?

And who cares what paul said...what makes him sacred to jesus? Jesus never said to listen to some stuff other people wrote after he died, the letters paul writes are PAULS INTERPRETATIONS, THEY ARE NOT THE WORD OF CHRIST

No one here arguing against it would give money to slaves in 1890, no one here thinks that when the alabama state police viciously beat peaceful protestors, they should, to this day, have to pay any significant amount of money to the people beaten

The blacks want retribution and don't care how they get it as long as its targeted at whitey. That's also not logical and highly racist.


It's also unconstitutional because it targets people who had absolutely nothing to do with slavery, and the constitution says that a person shall not be held responsible for an infamous crime that someone else committed, since you're so big on the constitution.
