I'm going to write a "Founding Fathers at a Glance" segment...

For our reference desk/wiki-to-be.

Little mini biographies of a few of the Founding Fathers, Washington and Hamilton and the other big names of course, and a few of the lesser remembered ones like Gouverneur Morris (the man that we quote every time we quote from the articles (not amendments) in the Constitution).

Just letting you guys know so you can wait for me to get around to it in like 11ty billion years.

I was going to write "greatest presidents at a glance" segment...starting with Washington, then Adams...going to Jackson, Lincoln, Wilson, FDR, Truman, JFK, LBJ

maybe a few more, it is going to take some time though

Greatest presidents? In whose opinion? The fact that FDR cracks your list is truly disgusting...but I guess thats for another thread.

Almost 12 years of presidency, and you'll find the few bad mark and paint him a villian...

In domestic policy, he struck the perfect cord between preventing a socialist revolution or a conservative business takeover, he saved the US

In foreign policy, WW2 need I say more?

Yes, I have done plentyyyy of reading on FDR and Hover. They were complete and utter opposites, in my opinion; with the exception of some of Hover's policies towards the end of his administration.

What do you dislike about FDR? He turned America around 180 degrees.

I disliked his New Deal only because it was extremely socialistic; however, I guess, it needed to be done. The 'trickle down' theory was hopeless.

Excellent idea and great work! I have a question though. In his bio you said we'd get into the age discrepancy later (as if an explanation was forthcoming) and I don't remember hearing it mentioned. Did you leave it out or did I miss it?

What is to like about FDR? He was the 2nd worst President we've ever had.
