Welcome to LL's new front page!

The new page brings many enhancements over the old version, primarily the addition of a real article system, and the possibility of personal user blogs.

The article system will allow us to feature articles written by selected members about a variety of issues. Our intention is to select members with a wide array of political philosophies and opinions to write articles about a variety of issues, from the latest polling data in the primaries, to economic policy, or the influence of religion on foreign policy.

Comments on the featured articles will, like all other user comments on our site, take place through our forum, in a special section specifically for comments on the articles. Registration IS required, but free, and comes with a whole host of benefits, so if you've been on the fence about joining our community, we hope you'll take a few seconds to register

In addition, we'll now have the ability to serve on page content, and we're starting out with the resources section, currently located at the bottom of the page. Right now we have a link to help you locate your Congressional district and representative based on your zip code.

If you have any ideas for additional resources or other on page content, please drop us a line in the Suggestion Box on the forums with your thoughts, there is already a stickied thread in place!

While still a work in progress, we look forward to your comments and suggestions to help improve the page over the coming months.
